Rick Muncrief, Former President and Chief Executive Officer of Devon Energy

Join us on Tuesday, January 20, for our monthly meeting featuring special guest speaker, Rick Muncrief, Former President and Chief Executive Officer of Devon Energy.

Rick brings more than 40 years of leadership experience in the U.S. energy industry, including serving as former President and Chief Executive Officer of Devon Energy. He was named CEO following the merger of Devon and WPX Energy, where he previously served as CEO and Chairman.

Throughout his career, Rick has led organizations through growth, transformation, and industry change, with senior roles at WPX Energy, Continental Resources, and ConocoPhillips and its predecessor companies. A proud Oklahoma State University graduate, he is a distinguished alumnus and member of the College of Engineering, Architecture & Technology Hall of Fame.

Today, Rick continues to shape the future of energy through board and advisory roles at Williams Companies, the OKC Chamber of Commerce, and several national and regional organizations—offering a rare opportunity to learn from his insight, leadership, and real-world experience.

He and his wife Gail currently reside in Edmond, Oklahoma, have been married nearly 45 years and are the parents of two grown children and four grandchildren.  They are active in their church, are both huge sports fans, and enjoy their farming and ranching operations near Elk City, Oklahoma.

Check-In

Upon payment and registration completion you will receive a “ticket” in your email that includes a QR Code. Please have that email (or QR Code) pulled up on your mobile device as you prepare to check in to speed up the process. Your code will be scanned at the registration desk and you’ll be checked in. Once checked in, you can pick up your name tag and drink tickets. Note: that the QR Code is specific to your registration for this meeting and will not work otherwise.
